Molasses Powder Description

Molasses powder is a powder made by spray drying molasses, a by-product of sugar production (the viscous residual liquid after juicing sugarcane or sugar beets). It is rich in sugar (45-55%), organic acids, minerals and trace elements, and is an "all-round" raw material for agriculture, feed and fermentation industries.

Product Usage and application

  1. The product is highly versatile and can serve as a primary or carrier component in producing foliar fertilizers, micro-fertilizers, root drenches, compound fertilizers, biological fertilizers, and hydroponic solutions. It can also enhance soil quality, adjust pH levels, and buffer salt-alkali conditions, functioning as a pesticide carrier.

  2. Base Fertilizer Application: Recommended at 100 kg per acre for base or hole fertilizer.

  3. Foliar Application: Suggested use is 10 kg per acre for sprays or drip irrigation.

  4. Mulching Agent: Can be uniformly sprayed on soil surfaces to form a film within 10 minutes, which degrades into fertilizer after germination, optimizing labor and cost efficiency.

  5. Specific Application Rates:

    • Hydroponics or root drenching: 2000x concentrated solution.
    • Seed dressing for rice and wheat: 0.3% powder.
    • Seed dressing for corn: 0.5% powder.
    • Seed dressing for cotton: 150 g per acre.
    • Sweet potato soaking: 200 mg/L for 8 hours.
    • Rapeseed soaking: 200x concentrated solution for 6 hours.
